Project Description: Infrastructure Design

Scope of Work:

The project consisted of the Structural Design of a 1-span concrete bridge to be used by both vehicles and pedestrians. The bridge spans a total of 30mts. over the Tallaboa River. The project is located at Caracoles Ward, Peñuelas, Puerto Rico. The structural design was contracted by the government of the Municipality of Peñuelas. The project demanded the revision of the Puerto Rico Highway Authority’s Design Department as well as the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Cost estimates, specifications and permits of all agencies having jurisdiction over the project were included with the project.
